Deep experience in how vehicle access systems need to operate, and in what it takes to integrate RF technologies into a vehicle and make them work well. That experience was earned helping a client take systems from proof-of-concept to production for GM, Ford, and Polestar.
Standards
Contributor to the Bluetooth Core Specification (6.0 and 6.2) and a named contributor to the Bluetooth Ranging Profile 1.0, with sections drafted and defended through working-group review.
Recognition
The phone-as-a-key work earned a Henry Ford Technology Award, Ford’s highest technical award, shared with the team that brought the technology to market. When the Bluetooth SIG launched Channel Sounding in 2024, its coverage on bluetooth.com quoted Kyle throughout, the public introduction of a technology he had spent years helping standardize.
